not sure if its been done before. its just a simple menu system to start a game with done with 3d objects insted of images or sprites.
uses simple object collision to detect mouse over ect..
its not super great but hay it only took 20 mins or so to make
it dose need media tho.. if u want to just see the code just hit the snippet button
