Sorry for the weird subject. But this isn't really any physics at al. It is just a car controlling code for an arcade racer. Very simple but i think it's effective and good enough to be in my game.

This is good - I like it. I can't help notice that you haven't put it into the codebase. Please can I invite you to do so?

Hmm... i don't think my code is good enough for the codebase. Most of the time it's cpu hungry and sloppy coded. And i discovered a weird thing in my code when i added my game model to it which i try to fix.

This is good-add it to the codebase. It works very well on my horrible computer.

It dosnt make a diffrence weather or not your code is good i pulled some movement code off the codebase and cleaned it up nicely theres no reason you should have to do all the work if someone really wants the code to work well for them then let them clean it up the fact is you got them started.

YES! finally! i've been trying to work out realistic controls and skidding for my racing game for a while now! this will definitely do the trick. ill have to tinker with it a little but its a lot simpler than i thought it would be! Thanks! you are my games savior!

...the fact is you got them started.

exactly!

hang on a minute, it does! Very good! If you don't mind I'll add that to my source code collection folder in dark basic classic, its still works in there! YOU ARE COOL!

Dont work for me in DBC when I try to drive the car it gives me the runtime error "specified angle must be from 0 to 360 degrees" darn this sounded great. Hey Nukesoft howd you get it workin?

Your "SKIDDING" text was not displaying properly, this seemed to work, though.

Thats really cool... defenitly have to say it is worth the codebase!

I'm back (again!!! should i change my nick to v3 ?) after buying my new computer i had serious memory problems (AMD64 3.2 doesn't want Twinmos memory). I used the code in my current project with added a wheelbase etc.

Little crosspost here but you can download a demo at http://www.dennuz666.com/index.php?page=darkbasic
