based on https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/222554

Groovy has Eval function - it gives ability to run AppGameKit functions at runtime/customize script at runtime (for example for creating your own IDE)

Do you technically need to own and have AppGameKit installed to use this (like I did for Cerberus X) or can you just download your stuff and could build an app?

as said here 'https://www.appgamekit.com/news/post/appgamekit-tier2-github-repository-now-open' - 'the Tier 2 libraries can be shared with the whole community'
but of course all Intellectual Property to The Game Creators Ltd

i personally own agk classic and agk studio.

yes you just download stuff and could build an app without agk installed, but IntelliJ idea and JDK and GDK'd be installed

sedrok,

i've removed the google link for now while i'm not so sure AppGameKit can be distributed this way.

i understand "the Tier 2 libraries can be shared with the whole community" but that implies "community of those who've purchased AGK", i expect.

i know about the other versions but i also know at least 2 of them had explicit permission from TGC to create them.

if TGC says it's fine, i'll reinstate the link. for now, let's leave it out.

The license on the GitHub repository clearly states that it isn?t allowed to distribute compiled versions of the library for others to use. Of course if you get a written permission by TGC you could.

TGC has confirmed this distribution is NOT allowed.
