I am running the iPhone player and using a windows box to broadcast. The game runs. The touch inputs are working. The graphics are there. The problem is that I can't get orientation to change or the sound. I can run the Player on my mac and sound is working. I have even tested the simplest orientation example program with no luck it always shows 1. Another thing I just noticed is if I run the Accelerometer example as I move the phone around the box does change its direction.

I am running the Player on an iPhone 4S with the latest iOS.

Does anyone have any ideas about this problem or if it is a bug?

I hope this has not been covered somewhere else, I searched all over the forums and don't see anyone having a similar problem.

Thanks,
Gary

You should indicate if it's the downloaded itunes player or the self-compiled one. They are very different.

If it is the viewer then it won't work. The app you download from the appstore is the viewer, not the player.

Thanks guys,

I didn't even realize the name difference. Yes I am running the viewer on the iPhone and player on the Macbook.
I found and watched Lee's video about the viewer. I guess it handles some of the controls, but not all. Now I just have to get my hands on the iPhone player when it is available

I believe you can compile it yourself if you have a developer license from Apple. Just don't ask me how
