How does one change the particle direction...?

It seems once you set up the emitter... it can't ever be changed!?!?!

If you have a jet flying about.. and jet exhaust coming out the back... how can you turn the jet and have the exhaust behave properly?

Yes, I used it but it was not working...

With more extensive testing, it does in fact appear that it is trying to work, but it is being overwhelmed by the speed of the sprite in a scrolling viewport.

What I seem to need is a means to decay the speed of particles over their lifetime... as if they were being shot into syrup.

Is such a thing possible?
