i am looking for partners for PC game makeing of khalin-gol battle (tank-simulation of famous soviet/japanese pre-ww2 tanks). i am a good modeller and scenario-maker, but i am week in programing. i want to learn more and to start something new, but i am a beginer in this stuf. on the market there is a great lack of tank simulations and it is time to do something new.

1. Use png instead of 5mb bmp picture.

2. App Game Kit is only 2D.

Maybe you should check out Darkbasic pro forums instead?

Programming a game (especially a sim)is a very time consuming progress, so I doubt you'll get many volunteers to code for free. Darkbasic is very easy to learn, you should make somekind of demo to wake more interest.

Very nice model and original idea though.

Nice model... but my eyes oh my eyes... toooo many polys... you will need to tone the polygons down when exporting it to game and try .X format for best reaults with Dark Basic Pro.

But as jlahtinen said... AppGameKit is probably not your cup of tea for this project unless you want to make a 2D sim... you can use some of the tools available to convert your 3D models to 2D sprites
