I use an iPhone 3G running iOS 3.1.3 because nothing newer really runs on it. (Apple claims 4.0 runs on it and yes it can be installed, but the 3G hardware grinds to a halt making the device useless). Any chance in seeing these older devices supported?

Unfortunately it looks like we have to support at least 3.2 for reliable iPad support.
