Hey guyz n girlz, here's some free stuff for you all to enjoy to use in your games for free!
Only two animations at the moment (both explosions), but I'll probably add some more stuff later on. So, stay tuned.
Both animations have 32 frames and each frame is 128x128.
The only thing I ask for in return, is that you give me credit (use my maiden name 'Chris Van Wijmeersch' instead of my forum name) in your game(s). Thanks.

Enjoy!

Thanks Chris!

I know your stuff is always great quality. I'll use these for sure

EDIT: Lee has mentioned that some platforms don't support images over 1024x1024. Also any image that is not to the power of 2 IE.16x16, 32x32 etc. are scaled up to the next nearest size making these 4096x4096. It might be worth scaling these to as small a width as possible... nevermind I saved you the work (edited files attached)

Awesome Chris! Beauty mate!

So both dimensions have to be equal powers of 2? So a 64x128 sprite will get padded to 128x128 even though both dimensions are powers of 2? I didn't know that. Thanks for the tip baxslash.

Yes I believe that's right, you're welcome.

No worries, Steve. Glad you like 'em.
If you need some for your game(s), you know where to find me. I still live in Belgium.

Aah, that's good to know. And, thanks for converting them. Will keep this in mind next time I'm making new animations/FX.

Awesome Chris! Beauty mate!

Much appreciated, Adam! Enjoy! Oh, and for some beers and fries, I'm willing to make some more.

Cheers

Just remember that the number of standard drinks you have has to be a power of 2.

Only if your platform doesn't support hardware shaders.

I feel some more inspiration coming. I wonder why, though.

Just remember that the number of standard drinks you have has to be a power of 2.

So, like 128x128?

...enjoy responsibly!

Good advice, Steve!

Only if your platform doesn't support hardware shaders.

Sorry for the double post, but here's another free animation/FX for you all to use. As said, just use my maiden name (Chris Van Wijmeersch) to give me credit in your game(s).
It's a seamless looping waterfall. Enjoy.

Cheers
