I could not see the enemies, they were black. Also they tried to shoot, but the bullets stayed on the screen.

I will look into that. Thanks for letting me know. Cheers.

I have attached a screenshot to give you more feedback on what I was talking about. For some reason like I said the enemy ships are black and these lines start showing up on my screen like the enemy ships are firing and their lasers never get pulled off the screen so it looks like paint running down the screen.

Hopefully this helps.

Still having an issue seeing the enemies, they are black and they blend in with the background and you simply cannot see them.

I have attached a screenshot to show you. Look over at the planet, see the alien spaceship? You can only see it when it is on a bright surface behind it.

WASD controls don't do anything. I can't move my ship.

You should lighten up the enemy ships. They're very hard to see.

Nice graphics and music though.

That's strange, is there a joystick connected to your PC?

Nice graphics and music though.

Thanks.

UPDATE:
New version with visible enemies.

Yes, there is a joystick. (hadn't thought of that..)

You might still want to include the keyboard controls whether there's a joystick or not. Right now my joystick is under my desk behind a bunch of boxes, books, and stuff. I don't use it much.

I'm glad that it works, I'll be sure to make it either one.

I'm planning on continuing this project since this was only 48 hours of work it isn't that impressive...

Good start with AppGameKit, keep the updates coming.

Like the graphics.

I noticed collision doesnt always work, is there just a small collision box?

Also when I get hit the app stops working.

Wasd controls work fine.

I'm starting with a shooter myself to get to grips with AGK.

Look forward to seeing more.

Yes, I didn't have time to make a reset part for the compo.
Will, be added in official release.

Can't wait to see games from other people.

Yes, I made a collision box. (Not a physics collision box)

ook forward to seeing more.

Thanks.

I'm doing the same thing with my entry. Why not? It's most of a game anyway right? The hard part is done. Now it just needs some tweaking and polish. (and some menus on mine wouldn't hurt..)

It looks really good so far! I agree that the enemies are way too dark in the screenshots. Would be tough to see them coming. You should try posting your screenies so peeps can see them straightaway using the addimage option when you post.
