Nice! Thanks Rick!

EDIT: Spelling mistake on the third question in FAQ:
intention. We are finding that some platforms are easy to support and others are still developing and changing. Our plan is likely to adapt with the developments of the platform holders. For example Android will now be much easier to support because they are moving closer to our core C++ way of working.

Looks fantastic, very slick. I would estimate from your site that you have 500 staff working on this product

Looks very good! Can't wait to play with it!

Looks very good. Apparently I had caught it in the middle of updating to a different header graphic. The other one I was going to say looked slightly out of place. The replacement looks very nice.
Good clean site that is professional.

Will this new website include a CodeBase or will the CodeBase on the regular TGC also be used for AppGameKit?

Nicely put together.

Nice to see HP WebOS on the roadmap, but no Symbian any more??

We will most likely create a new code base specifically for AGK.

I really don't like to complain, but sometimes I just can't help it...
It was stated that the pre-order offer for the Community Edition that was offered on this site was supposed to have been available to this community only:
and start developing your game. This discount will be available until 30th September.
(emphasis added)
But now the AppGameKit site is offering the same deal to the general public.
I feel that this makes the original offer a little misrepresented...

BTW, I also like the site design, but that's another topic.

well i guess that community means a user registered on these forums.

when you press the order button you are directed on the tgc site, where you need to register before proceeding... hence you become a member of the community!

i guess that the more people that buy agc the better, as the tgc team will have the incentive to add more features and platforms

Nice site, easy to navigate and very informative. Ordered my copy of AppGameKit a few minutes ago. Typical me, I should have done it a week ago and then I would not be waiting.

I've sorted my problems with the admin issue, it's due to the workspace arrangement. I've got to say, that could have been easier to use.

The language is good, very clear, familar and it all seems pretty powerful, but I'll only know for sure when I've actually attempted a project.

On a side note, the command help could be a lot easier to use. DBP allows you to see the syntax of a command when you've typed it, or click the command to see the help file, something I've always found very useful for unfamilar commands. I can't imagine why this isn't the case here and something I'd like to see addressed.

Otherwise, very nice so far and looking forward to seeing what I can produce.

I'm really enjoying it so far. Only had about an hour to look round in it before work, but I can see it's application immediately. The inclusion of Box2D is, in my opinion, a masterstroke.

I echo Scene Commander here, though, when it comes to the command help. It would be much simpler, and intuitive, if you could just spam F1 when a command is highlighted, and have that command reference brought up. I am finding it a little frustrating having to go back and forth between the browser and the IDE.

Apart from that, I am pretty stoked to be using it! Looks to be a fantastic tool, TGC. Thanks!

Hear you loud and clear on the F1 context help! I have added it to my very urgent top things to do for the next build. Initially it will just allow you to select the command in the editor and press F1 and it will jump to the most appropriate help page. Eventually I also want the command syntax and parameter list displayed in the IDE so you don't have to go to an entire help page to see how many parameters and in what order they go in.
