Sorry if i led you in here under a false guise, but a young friend of mine wants to start coding and i said i would get him a quick demo of a 2d side scroller, sorta like mario but with shooting so more like metal slug, i'm sure i've seen the code for it somewhere, but i've searched and cant find anything. If anyone has just some basic code to handle walking around could you link me to it? I've got all the graphics etc im just no good at the maths it takes to scroll back and forth across tiles.
