i can't seem to find a program to use to view those types of files. Is something wrong with it or is it me.

.fx and .x files can be opened with notepad. .tga files can be opened by windows picture viewer or other photo-editing programs.

A simple way of working with *.tga files is to load them into DBP, then save them in your favourite format (*.bmp, *.jpg, etc). Then edit them in your favourite editor (MS Paint, etc). Then load them back into DBP and re-save as *.tga files (if you need them to be in that format).

when i open a .x file in the notepad, a long list of numbers and some words appear.
and is there a free trial for darkMatter
