In the thread related to the "Hands On Dark Basic" books, I made mention of a wiki as being a possible solution to the issue with a lack of complete documentation to DBPro.

My question is this... would TGC be willing to host a wiki on the TGC domain? I ask only because it would be unfortunate to lose such a potentially valuable resource because a someone decided they didn't want to host it any longer.

Thoughts?

The members area doesn't have PHP or MySQL available, so probably not.

Nick Thompson has a new Drupal-based codebase, maybe it could be combined? I know he has plans to make DB Pro commands fully searchable, so you can find code snippets containing the command that you are interested in.

Hmmm... not a bad idea. At the very least, a DBPro wiki could link to his codebase.

Thanks for the info.

I think a DBP wiki would be a great idea. I would probably use a wiki more than a codebase. I visit http://gpwiki.org/ alot and the way they have theres working is pretty good.
